Abstract
In this paper, a new accurate approximate solution is provided for the chlorine transport equation under the turbulent condition. The new approximation has advantages when compared with another approximation in the literature. The current results reveal that the curves of dimensionless cup-mixing average concentration are much accurate than those approximately derived by other authors in the relevant literature.
