Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a new iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of common solutions of a system of equilibrium problems involving pseudomonotone bifunctions and the set of common fixed points of a finite family of demicontractive mappings in a real Hilbert space. We prove strong convergence theorem for the proposed algorithm under some suitable conditions. Applying our main result, some strong convergence theorems are also established in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Our results improve and extend some corresponding ones in the earlier and recent literature.
