Abstract
As it occurred worldwide, COVID-19 has perplexed the social and personal lives of Saudi Arabians. These impacts were variant across different communal sectors. Accordingly, the current study aimed to determine different factors linked to coronavirus anxiety, fear, and worry. It also aims to evaluate strategies implemented by the research community to handle such complexities. Methods: To this end, the researchers adopted a cross-sectional online survey targeting a sample of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University students. n. 437.. The study utilized the binary logistic regression methodology to achieve its aims. Results: Several vital findings were yielded. The most prominent of which is that there is a correlation between a higher level of panic during the pandemic on one side, and the factors of the impact of COVID-19 on financial status, comorbidities, and utilizing health services to overcome the tension "COVID-19-related stress" in the preceding month on the other side. Conclusion: The study identified that the factors such as age, the impact of COVID-19 on financial status, comorbidities, and health services used to cope with COVID-19 related stress, are correlated with higher levels of fear during the COVID-19 pandemic.
