Abstract
We propose a mixed variable resubmitted sampling plan based on the process capability index. The optimal values of plan parameters for symmetry and asymmetry cases are determined using the simulation of two nonlinear equations satisfying certain given conditions. The advantages of the proposed plan are discussed over existing single attribute sampling plan. A real industrial example is given to apply the proposed plan in practice.
