Abstract
In this research investigation, we reported an efficient one pot and simple eco-friendly method for the synthesis of diphenyl-1.2-dihydroquinazoline derivatives by the reaction of 2-aminobenzophenones and aldehydes with ammonium acetate in the presence of acetic acid as a catalyst. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were established by elemental and spectral analysis.
