Abstract
The influence of Ag+ substitution on copper nanoferrites was reported. The single spinel phase within the synthesized nanoferrites was revealed from XRD analysis. The estimated crystallite sizes are showing variation within 18-27 nm. The FE-SEM micrographs exhibit the presence of nanoparticles with agglomeration at few places. The TEM profiles exhibit the nano-spheres with a mean diameter of 27 nm. The elemental compositions within the stoichiometry were confirmed from the EDS analysis. The presence of functional groups of spinel ferrites were exhibited by FTIR spectra of the ferrites. The VSM study shows decrease in the saturation magnetization with increasing Ag+ composition.
