Alcohol consumption causes a number of liver ailments which when not corrected leads to alcohol liver disease.

The current study is aimed at rectification of alcohol induced liver damage by the use of
Lichen rangiferinus
in rats.
•
Tested biochemical parameters showed reduction, following administration of lichen extract.
•
Conclusively, lichen extract assuages alcohol-related damage and guards liver from alcohol-induced toxicity.
