Abstract

amygdalin amygdalin-6″-(4-hydroxy)- E-cinnamate amygdalin-6″-(4-hydroxy)benzoate Convolvulaceae cyanogenesis Merremia dissecta seeds
Three cyanogenic glycosides were isolated from the seeds of Merremia dissecta (Convolvulaceae) and identified spectroscopically as amygdalin, its 6″-(4-hydroxy)benzoate and its 6″-(4-hydroxy)- E-cinnamate; the last two are new natural compounds.
