This paper suggests a novel modified Laplace decomposition method for nonlinear equations by suitable choice of an initial solution. The modification overcomes the noise oscillation during the iteration procedure by the standard Laplace decomposition method The Klein-Gordon equation is used as an example to show the effectiveness of the method.
