The domain of influence theorem is extended to cover the generalized thermoelasticity of anisotropic bodies with voids in the context of Lord-Shulman and Green-Lindsay theories. We prove that for a finite time t > 0 the displacement field u(l), the change in volume fraction phi and the temperature T generate no disturbance outside a bounded domain B-t.
