Abstract
We give an algorithm for an explicit implementation of Traverso-Swan's theorem, saying that a reduced ring A is seminormal if and only if the canonical map: PicA -> Pic A [x] is an isomorphism. (c) 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
