Abstract
In this article, we present an efficient de-embedding technique based on the characteristic basis function method for an accurate evaluation of the generalized S-parameters for microstrip circuits and antennas etched on layered media. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the reliability and computational efficiency of the described procedure. (c) 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
