Abstract
A high yielding method for the synthesis of the cyclic heptapeptide Rolloamide B has been described. An effective isobutyl chloroformate (IBCF) mediated direct coupling reaction was introduced to improve the synthetic route towards Rolloamide B. Furthermore, preliminary bioassays indicated potential activity against Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
