Sixty-one out of 165 goats showed abscesses in various body lymph nodes, mainly in the head, neck and shoulder region. The specimens cultured revealed the growth of Staphylococcus aureus subspecies anaerobius. Accordingly an abscess disease "Morel's disease" was diagnosed in affected goats.
