Two-terminal electronic devices, such as diodes and solar cells, based on a heterojunction structure incorporating a tetracene single crystal and a C-60 thin film are fabricated (see figure). The photovoltaic devices demonstrate an external power conversion efficiency of ca. 0.34 % and a high open-circuit voltage of 0.57 V.
