Abstract
Three fractions methanol (SEM), ethylacetate (SEE) and butanol (SEB) of Sonchus eruca were subjected to test against antiglycation, cytoxicity and phytotoxicity. In case of antiglycationbioassay, methanol fraction showed highest inhibitory activity 65.60 % fallowed by ethyl acetate 45.20 % and butanol 20.40 %. All three fractions did not show any significant cytotoxic activity. The ethyl acetate fraction exhibited significant phytotoxic activity.
