Abstract
Background / Introduction: Definition of anxiety according to American Psychological Association: is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure. Objectives: The objective is to evaluate and compare anxiety among medical and non-medical in Al Majmaah University. Methodology: The design was cross-sectional to evaluate and compare anxiety between medical and nonmedical among 310 students in Al Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia. Beck anxiety inventory questioner is administrate to (SPSS) was used to analysis. Results: Show that most of the students were healthy 80%, while the moderate anxiety 10.3% and concerning level of anxiety show 9.7%. Conclusion: There is nearly similar complain of anxiety in both medical and non-medical in al Majmaah university but the deference in moderate and concerning level we see increase number in of moderate in non-medical while increase in concerning level in medical students.
