Abstract

In this article, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is used to implement the modified regularized long-wave (MRLW) equation with some initial conditions. The method is very efficient and convenient and can be applied to a large class of problems. In the last, three invariants of the motion are evaluated to determine the conservation properties of the system. (C) 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
