Abstract
This review is intended to highlight various applications of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and thin-layer electrophoresis (TLE) as analytical techniques for the analysis of aqueous samples containing inorganic anions. In fact, a limited number of papers have been reported for the analysis of aqueous samples of multicomponent mixtures of inorganic anions in comparison to metal ions on the use of TLC and TLE. The historical background of both TLC and TLE has also been presented in brief.
