Abstract

Automated general tolerances for dimensions and features without individual tolerance indications can assist in producing quick, accurate and consistent tolerance nomination for computer-aided process planning. The menu-driven Basic program accomplishes tolerance specification through the interaction between the user and the program. The subroutines allow the user to choose between general dimensional tolerances or general geometrical tolerances.
