Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce new class of proximal contractions in non-Archimedean modular metric spaces and to prove some best proximity point theorems for such kind of mappings. As application we deduce best proximity results in fuzzy metric spaces. Consequently, some basic fixed point results in both modular and fuzzy metric spaces are obtained as corollaries of our work. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the usability of our obtained results.
