We construct bi-integrable couplings for a new soliton hierarchy from zero curvature equations associated with a non-semisimple loop algebra. We demonstrate the Liouville integrability of the hierarchy by showing that the bi-integrable couplings generated are bi-Hamiltonian. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
