Abstract

Reaction of the binuclear complexes [Rh(μ-Cl)(COD)] 2 with the bifunctional anionic 8-hydroxyquinolinate, 2-mercaptoquinolinate, and 2-hydroxysalicylaldiminate groups yields the binuclear complexes [Rh(μ-XY)(COD)] 2, where XY − are the anionic groups listed. The complexes have been fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
