In the centrosymmetric title compound, [Cd(NO3)(2)(C20H14N4)(2)], the dihedral angle between the phenyl rings attached to one heterocycle is 54.13 (5)degrees. The crystal structure is stabilized by O center dot center dot center dot C, C-H center dot center dot center dot O, C-H center dot center dot center dot pi and pi-pi interactions.
