Abstract
Aerial parts of
Pulicaria glutinosa yielded three bisabolene sesquiterpenes, puliglutol, puliglutal and puliglutone; structural assignments were based largely on their 2D NMR spectral data. A fourth sesquiterpene, the guaiane cyclo-epoxypuliglene, was also obtained, and its structure and relative stereochemistry were established by X-ray crystallographic analysis.
