Abstract

Life Sciences & Biomedicine Radiology, Nuclear Medicine & Medical Imaging Science & Technology
We report two cases of brevis fibular tendon fissural syndrome, revealed by swelling and a retromalleolar pain. This syndrome occurs in a non-traumatic context and without ankle laxity. MRI is essential in establishing positive diagnosis as well as the search for associated lesions. We illustrate our findings with two case reports and briefly discuss the pathological context and the multiple MRI aspects.
