Radiologists blinded to the clinical and laboratory characteristics of the subjects interpreted the chest x-rays for findings of cardiac dysfunction (pulmonary edema, cardiac enlargement, and pleural effusion), while the following parameters were assessed on CT images: pulmonary edema, pleural effusion, emphysema, respiratory bronchiolitis scoring, airway thickening, mucus plugging, bronchiectasis, reticulation, consolidation, coronary artery calcium, ground glass opacities, mosaic attenuation, nodules, and aortic(A) and pulmonary artery(PA) diameters.
