Abstract

Dyspnea Lungs Pneumonia Pregnancy
Case KC is a 27 year-old female, lifelong nonsmoker, with history of polycystic ovarian syndrome, 6-week pregnant through In Vitro Fertilization, who presented with escalating symptoms of dyspnea, nonproductive dry cough, and pleuritic chest pain. Chest CT scan revealed extensive interstitial disease primarily in the periphery of the lungs with associated peripheral ground-glass opacities but no associated fibrosis.
