[...]we used a weighted regression model using these weights taking in consideration the repeated measure nature of the data to estimate the association of ribavirin and/or interferon with 28-day mortality. After adjustment for baseline characteristics and time-dependent variables by the marginal structural model, there was no significant association between ribavirin/interferon therapy and 28-day mortality: adjusted odds ratio 1.03 (95% Cl 0.72-1.48).
