Abstract
The effects of pH, current density, and relative concentration of complexing agent were studied for baths of ThCl4, NaCl and/or NH4Cl, and complexing agent. Current efficiencies and the Th complex species are reported for baths containing citric, perchloric, tartaric, persulphuric, phosphoric, malonic, acetic, monochlor-acetic, dichloracetic, hydrofluoric, sulphuric, and nitric acids as complexing agents. 16 ref.--T.W.
