Abstract
A colorimetric assay using MTT salt was Used to Measure the ill vitro proliferative response of peripheral blood monocytes (PBMs) of Sudanese camels vaccinated with Brucella abortus strain 19 vaccine. The mean stimulation index of PBMs of camels after vaccination was significantly higher than before vaccination (P < 0.01). The results suggest possible protection of camels from brucellosis using strain 19 Brucella abortus vaccine.
