Abstract

Chaos Nonlinear dynamics
It is shown that the nonlinear equations governing the dynamics of weakly interacting electromagnetic disturbances in nonuniform magnetoplasmas can be written as a set of three coupled nonlinear equations, which are a generalization of the Lorentz-Stenflo equations. The chaotic fluid behavior of electromagnetic turbulence is studied on the basis of the newly derived nonlinear equations.
