We have synthesized CaxLaBaCu3Oapproximate to 7 (x = 0.8 to 1.2) and CaLaBayCu3Oapproximate to 7 (y = 0.8 to 1.2) tetragonal superconducting compounds. Results of XRD, de resistivity, iodometric titration, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy on these compounds have been discussed in detail.
