Abstract

alkylation, arylation, dealkylation, dearylation, C‐acylation, olefination catalysis, phase‐transfer catalysis cleavage reactions, decomposition reactions, pyrolysis
Hydrogenolysis and homologation of pentenes such as 1‐pentene to butenes, methane (5%), and hexenes take place simultaneously and at the same rate over a Ru/SiO2 catalyst at 110 °C. Unlabeled 1‐butene and labeled hexenes are obtained from (1‐13C)‐1‐pentene.
