triazole derivatives

1‐(Hydroxymethyl)benzotriazole (I) reacts with aromatic amines such as (II) to give equilibrium mixtures of the N‐mono‐ and N,N‐bis(benzotriazolylmethyl)arylamines (III)‐(VI).
