Among 45 nicotinamide and pyridine derivatives such as (I)‐(III) and (IV) the derivatives (Ia) and (IIIa) give a significant reversible chemiresistor response to (V) vapor (good discrimination from the sulfur‐mustard‐gas simulant (VI)).
