Abstract
Dy-0.5(Sr1-xCax)(0.5)MnO3 perovskite (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3) was successfully prepared using sol gel route. Electrical properties were conducted using impedance spectroscopy over frequency range 40 -10(7) Hz and through large temperature scale. Conductance spectra are well fitted by a single and double model for x = 0.05. Then, Drude's model fits the others. that the latter model becomes the appropriate one from 340 K for x = 0.1-260 K for x = 0.3. Capacitive behavior flips to inductive one with rise in fraction of Ca. Thermal variation of direct current conductance, G(d)(c), indicates that the electrons move in agreement with small polaron hopping (SPH) model. Impedance analysis proves that grain was not as resistive as grain boundary. The electrons run faster with boost in temperature. The relaxation time was multiple. Nyquist diagram strengthens not only the capacitive behavior up to high temperatures but also the distribution of relaxation time. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
