Abstract
Under canonical transformations, the Hamiltonian of a Jaynes-Cummings-Hubbard system composed of two coupled cavities, each containing a two-level atom in the presence of an external classical field, is simplified. Effective Hamiltonians in three limiting regimes are displayed. Initially the cavity fields are prepared in the vacuum states while, the first atom in its excited state and the second in its ground state. The Schrödinger equation for each Hamiltonian is solved. The collapses-revivals phenomenon is studied by the time evolution of the atomic inversion. The effects of different parameters on the scaled atomic inversion are examined. The change in the behavior of the transferred information due to the change in the value of the gab between both the coupling of the external classical field and the localized atomic frequency is analyzed. General conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.
