Abstract
In Ref.[1], the kappa-Dirac equation, based on the kappa-deformed Poincare-Hopf algebra, have been studied. In particular, solutions of the kappa-Dirac oscillator (DO), in a three-dimensional space, were obtained by deriving the associated radial equations. We point out, however, a miscalculation in treating these equations, which had led to erroneous conclusions, particularly, about the energy eigenvalues and the breaking of their infinite degeneracy by the kappa-deformation. By the way, we present a simple alternative method to solve the problem using an algebraic procedure. (C) 2020 The Author. Published by Elsevier B.V.
