We discuss the existence of common fixed points in uniformly convex metric spaces for single-valued pointwise asymptotically nonexpansive or nonexpansive mappings and multivalued nonexpansive, *-nonexpansive, or epsilon-semicontinuous maps under different conditions of commutativity.
