In this paper, we prove several common fixed point theorems for nonlinear mappings with a function phi in fuzzy metric spaces. In these fixed point theorems, very simple conditions are imposed on the function phi. Our results improve some recent ones in the literature. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the main result of this paper.
