Abstract
Explicit mathematical models have been developed to predict the release rate of fertilizers from polymeric membrane. The models can be used to describe the release rate under different operating conditions. Detailed and approximate solution were developed and compared with numerical solution for the fertilizer release rate. These solutions determine a finite step for the determination of release characteristics of fertilizer from different type of formulations.
