In this work, we introduce the notion of intuitionistic generalized fuzzy metric space by using the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set due to Atanassov. We determine some coupled coincidence point results for compatibility of two mappings, that is, F : X x X -> X and g : X -> X, in the framework of intuitionistic generalized fuzzy metric spaces endowed with partial order. An interesting example is also displayed here in support of our result.
