Abstract
(CO)-C-12 J=1-0 and 2-1 emission is reported from a highly confined (approximately 20") region east of M81. Being associated with the M81 group of galaxies, the molecular complex (approximately 10(6) - 10(7) M.) is likely of intergalactic nature and may represent the missing link between the extended HI clouds of high column density and the young dwarf irregulars observed in this region.
