Abstract
Details are given of a procedure for the simultaneous determination of organic lead compounds by extraction into n-hexane in the presence of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate and sodium chloride, butylation of the extract and analysis by gas chromatography and atomic absorption. Typical results obtained for sample of rain water, atmospheric aerosols, motorway runoff and street dust are tabulated.
