The structure of the title compound, [Co(C12H8N2)(2)-(H2O)(2)]( H2PO4)(NO3)center dot 2H(2)O, is built up from layers of complex [Co(C12H8N2)(2)(H2O)(2)](2+) cations and phosphate units parallel to (010), delimiting a- axis tunnels in which the nitrate anions and the water molecules are located. The molecular structure is stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonds and weak pi-pi stacking interactions.
