Image 1 • Digital imaging analysis (DIA) is able to detect early chromosomal aberrations in the malignant cells. • Cytology sometimes fails to identify nature of biliary stricture. • DIA has increased sensitivity and specificity over the cytology. • DIA has fairly high cost but offers advantage in detection of malignant stricture.
