Abstract
A new species Erythraeus (Erythraeus) walii (Erythraeidae) has been described in detail along with illustrated diagrams from a larva collected from Sorghum halepence from Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. This species belongs to the species group with basifemoral setal formula 2-2-2 and has been compared with all species of this group. It was first record of subgenus Erythraeus from Pakistan.
