Abstract

Life Sciences & Biomedicine Microbiology Science & Technology
Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coil (STEC) is a foodborne pathogen transmitted from animal to humans through contaminated food. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of six STEC isolates (six serotypes) from food (cheese, coriander, and pea protein pellets) in different countries; these isolates were resistant to tetracycline, with MIC values ranging from <1.5 to 256 mu g/mL.
