Abstract
In the present study, thermoluminescence (TL) glow curves of commercial and electron-beam (EB) (1-100 kGy ) exposed dysprosium oxide (Dy

O

) have been investigated. The commercial glow curve has six TL peaks at 160, 180, 230, 245, 290 and 330 °C. Measurements of the EB exposed sample show a good and linear dose response which offers the possibility of Dy

to be used as a good EB dosimeter. The effect of storage time at room temperature has been monitored for different EB doses.
